Check out the DIY cupcake liner lamp tutorial at Design Sponge. A round paper lantern, some cupcake liners and hot glue turned a ho-hum orb into a conversation piece.
POP phone handset
I find myself desiring a POP Phone handset. This gadget works with almost any tablet, computer or mobile phone (with corresponding adaptors). Not only is call sound quality improved, but it also cuts down on phone radiation. It's available in 10 colors. I can't decide between the mint and lemon.
Upcycled cabinet pulls jewelry holder
Finally finished a project with my hubby this weekend. My necklaces were getting to be a tangled mess so we created this jewelry holder using cabinet pulls and a leftover piece of cedar board. Ed put a decorative edge on the board with a router, but simple reclaimed wood looks great as well.
1. Cut board to desired length.
2. Stain or paint desired color (I used Minwax stain in "ispwich pine")
3. Drill holes for the cabinet knobs. Usually 3/16 drill bit size.
Magnetic nail polish
Have you seen this magnetic nail polish? There's are tiny magnetic particles in the liquid that form patterns when you hold the magnet in the lid of the container over the nail. I rarely wear polish as I chip it within oh, say 5 seconds of a completed manicure.
New invitation design
New Magnolia Bridal Luncheon invitations are now in the shop. The default paper is a linen finish, but i think they also look nice on the cream and metallic paper options.
Jamie Spinello Metalworks
Who knew brass, copper and aluminum could be so powerful in jewelry? I love the work of Jamie Spinello. Check out the full range of handmade designs in her Etsy shop.
