Today was a fun day at work
Today was a fun day work. I got to do some food styling for a bizarre sandwich story. The main ingredient was sardines. It was a smelly job, but fun and the resulting sandwich looked pretty tasty. The photographer even burst out into a chorus of the "Fish Head" song and I joined in. Good times.
New lighting
So we finally finished one of our home improvement projects. Well, mostly Ed did all the work, and I held the light while he wired everything and got the positioning perfect. The before fixture was ho hum and getting rather corroded. The after is a stained glass fixture with an arts & crafts motif. Much, much better.
Upcycled Coca-Cola crate pet feeder
What a clever use of an old bottle crate. This Coca-Cola crate has been upcycled into a pet feeder complete with casters to easily move the setup. Meals on wheels anyone?

Now this is what I call a dream house. Cinderella Moments is charming Etsy shop and this beauty is a reserved custom dollhouse with a farmhouse theme. I found this wonderful array of handmade shabby chic creations by using the "Shop Local" function on Etsy. I love discovering artists in my own back yard!
