It's begining to look a lot like fabulous
Vixen Vintage knows how to do retro Christmas with a modern twist. I've always admired outrageous faux trees with over-the-top color palettes and her version does not disappoint.
Little black dress vintage edition
As the holidays approach I get excited because it's the time of year one can pull out the formal dresses and don a little glamor. I'm always looking for a little black dress because seriously, you can't have too many. I love this vintage 50's dress from the Vintage Studio gives the impression of two-colors with the taffeta skirt reflecting light and the velvet absorbing it. The best part—a pocket! I will buy nearly any dress with a pocket. Why designers don't put them in more clothes is beyond me.
Pumpkin pie parfaits
Oh you must see the recipe for pumpkin pie parfaits over at Heather Pace's blog Food and Yoga for Life. She's a classically trained chef who runs a raw vegan dessert business on top of being a yoga instructor.
