Does anyone collect Lady Head Vases? These ceramic vases have been around since the 1940s and were used to hold floral designs. I love the digital collage art prints incorporating Lady Head Vases over at Two Little Fruits Art Studio. I mean look at the way the lighting is so carefully matched to the scene! Wow.
ojo de dios — yarn "God's Eye"
Did anyone else make these ojo de dios or "God's Eye" in summer camp back in the day? This one was done by the talented Blair at Wise Craft. She made hers with PDF instructions from Jay Mohler. You can also purchase complete kits as well as the instructions in his Etsy shop. We used to make very simple ones in camp from popsicle sticks and leftover yarn colors that nobody wanted. This one is gorgeous.
No more junk mail with Paper Karma App
Oh Paper Karma where have you been all my life? This free App allows you to take photos of catalogs, credit card offers and other types of junk mail and then contacts the companies to remove you from the mailing list. PaperKarma then lets you know once you've been removed from the list. We have two bins—one for trash and one for recycling. While we are proud of the fact that our recycling bin is always more full than the trash, we still need to generate less waste. Woohoo Paper Karma.

Bloggers Night Out - what a great idea
I ran across a post at Evie S. about Oklahoma Bloggers Night Out and thought "what a really great idea." I'm going to hit Meetup.com today and see if there are any bloggers in my neck of the woods who might be interested in getting together. If you're a blogger in the North Texas area give me a shout if you're of a like mind.
