You can never have too many fonts that look like handwriting. There are so many design uses for this style of lettering. I really like the rhythm of the Luna Handwriting font by Carolina Mejia Villegas. Click here to download from Fontspace.

So is everyone else seeing these cowboy rain boots everywhere? I used to have a pair of traditional wellies—black with a hot pink sole when I lived in Brooklyn. I thought those were super-snazzy, but these new designs really take the cake.
Just finished some new designs last night. These monogram argyle prints can be customized and look great in children's rooms. The standard size is 11 x 14, but larger sizes are available. They're printed on heavy paper stock and you have the option to upgrade to UV coating or even print on canvas. I think they look great in a simple white frame like this one.

Look at this cute DIY pop-up card tutorial over at Paper Source. Be sure to download the PDF for complete instructions. It's the first item under the "materials needed" list. Dimensional cards really make an impact and I'd like to try this pop-up technique with some other themes.
I'm a bit infatuated with yellow at the moment which has never happened. It's such a happy, energetic color, but I always shy away from it in clothing and design. I have no idea why because I'm smitten with it now. Here are some lovelies from etsy:
1. Bicycle Letterpress folded cards from Paper Lovely
2. Be Polite felt sign from Tumbledown
3. Felt Ruffle Kidney Pillow Cover from White Nest
4. Friendship Roses soaps from Satin and Birch
image by lachelleOn Saturday I visited the historic stockyards of Forth Worth and got some roses from a street vendor. This particular rose is sharing my desk in the studio today and so I wanted to share it with everyone else. Now if I could find a way to add scratch and sniff to a web page I'd be rich.
