Wandered through some travel photos this weekend from past trips and came across this one from our trip to Madrid. I come to a dead stop when I encounter pastry (it's very dangerous for people walking behind me) and this instance was no differnt. Those towering meringues on the second shelf are what initially caught my eye.
New vintage camera business card design
Here's the latest business card design I've been working on. Lately I've been exploring silos as design elements. Holla if you like it or even if you don't.

Upcycled watch pendants
I admit destroying more than one Cinderella Disney watch as a child to get a better look at its innards. I think Funky Glam has done a much better job of putting watches back together in a very appealing way. These upcycled watches make eye-catching conversation pieces in their new life as pendants.

Upcycled fabric and clothing at Elegant Green
The Etsy shop Elegant Green takes old clothing, pillow shams and other fabrics and gives them new life as cute clutches. Click through to look at the before photos of the garments from whence these bags came. It would have been straight to Goodwill for me, but Lea looks beyond and sees potential for new beauty.
Ace Hotel Portland — great room graphics
Woof. This is perhaps one of the coolest hotels I've had the good fortune to stay at. In the heart of downtown Portland, the Ace Hotel is funky and fun with style to spare. All the rooms have their own quirky decor and this playful pooch adorned my quarters. I can highly recommend a stay here.
